New Holland Farm Toys
New Holland has been building quality farm equipment dating back to 1895 with the founder of the company, Abram Zimmerman. Early on, New Holland built gas engines that were used on many belt driven implements such as saws and washing machines.
In 1947 the company was purchased by Sperry Corporation and was officially called Sperry-New Holland which built lawn equipment and combines. For a time during the 1980's and 1990's, New Holland was owned by Ford and many of Fords tractors were rebranded with the Ford-New Holland name and built with the usual blue Ford colors.
In 2000 changes in ownership were made and Case and New Holland, both owned by Terex were merged to create the currently entity, CNH Global which sells tractors in 160 countries and has factories throughout 16 countries.
The current New Holland tractor lineup consists of of a number of models, each represented by a "T" before a number to indicate the size. The smallest of the current New Holland tractors is the TT-A series, which come in sizes from 35 hp up to 62 hp. The largest are the enormous T9000 series. These 4WD tractors come in 335 to a massive 535hp!
A diecast New Holland tractor will bring value to any diecast tractor collection.
